General Boating / Memorial Day weekend plans?

What's everyone up to next weekend?  I don't have Evie for Memorial Day weekend.  Anyone looking for a couple crew members for a day?  (And one of them is a 6ft tall, thin, blond that likes 2 piece swim suits and drinks!

Does this mean we'll have a renaming ceremony for A-Bob where he can change the name from THE DOG HOUSE to THE CLOSET?  :P

I swear I saw that boat going down the river a few hours after they pulled it out of the lake.  Maybe it was just another boat that looked identical?

Clear proof why stern anchors need to be done with so much caution. The weather wasn't bad, but when you have a half transom boat and if you look at the scum line, that boat has maybe 4 inches of freeboard.... not helped by the big kicker. Didn't take much I'm sure.

As Corey said, this is why you carry a big knife on a boat... always be prepared to cut lines in an emergency. Probably happened too fast to even make that decision though. Glad everything was okay. I hope the motors and HDS make it!

Unless it happened so fast there wasn't time, they should have just cut the rope.

$45 anchor or $15,000 boat.
